Martial arts styles from various planets and cultures exist all around and within the Star Wars Galaxy. Below is a list of common place or detailed ones used in Official Star Wars movies, novels and games.
Your characters can purchase one of these as a 'specialty' if you have the sufficient training and points. It requires 2 for non-combat oriented occupations and 1 for combat types to acquire one. Plus you must meet all the requirements.
Jedi Budo, Style or Hand to Hand
All Jedi are taught a rudimentary Martial Arts form that consists of defensive manuevers and some offensive strikes, consisting of many throws and parries. Meditation, focus and calm combined with incorporating the Force into movement, attacks, and defense makes up for a well-rounded style. It is rare that a Jedi needs to pursue outside styles to increase their martial abilities.
(Consider all Jedi having this ability at it's base level it increases when a Jedi Knight then later when a Jedi Master)
Close Quarters Combat (CQC)
A military fighting style focusing on grapples, throws, joint locks and rapid take down techniques. Skilled practitioners can render an opponent immobile and helpless within seconds. CQC instruction is generally less formal than most martial arts and consists mainly of full-contact sparring and muscular strengthening exercises. There dozens of different variants of CQC, but all involve many of the same proven techniques and tactics. Though not a requirement, most CQC instructors include advanced pistol and knife-wielding training as part of the style’s regimen.
Requires: 3 Years of in-service military training, and 2 specialties (or 1 if combat oriented)
Known Martial Artists
Good majority of soldiers from all origins galaxy wide
Echani
Echani is a martial arts style that became the official technique of Emperor Palpatine's Royal Guards. The style is though to have its origins in the style practiced by the Sun guards of Thyrsus, but Palpatine had experts modify the original techniques to make them more deadly. The brutal echani style is full of jabs, kicks, and other dangerous strikes focusing on deadliness over finesse.
Requires: 3 Years of training, and 2 specialties (or 1 if combat oriented)
Known Martial Artists
Atton Rand, Brianna, Raskta Fenni, Shira Brie and Yusanis
K'tara
K'tara is a martial arts style often practiced by Special Forces units in order to maximize damage to an opponent while minimizing the amount of noise made by the attack. K'tara focuses on short, quick motions. Most maneuvers begin from the set position and move within a small rectangle framed by the target's shoulders and hips. A soldier using K'tara style can quietly disarm an opponent and reduce him to uncsciousness within the first stages of combat, attracting very little attention. This martial arts style emphasizes stealth.
Requires: 3 Years of training, and 2 specialties (or 1 if combat oriented)
Known Martial Artists
Several within the Alliance Special Forces, Mandalorians and other military factions.
Player and Non Player characters who have studied K'tara
The Merys clan (Mandalorians with various levels of skill during various eras)
Theta 291 (a clone trooper; Master level practitioner during Rise and Fall era)
Kyc'n Mevek (student of Theta 291, intitiate level practitioner during Rise and Fall era)
K'thri
K'thri is a special martial arts style that dates back to the days of the Old Republic, but survived into The New Jedi Order era. The style gained popularity in many parts of the Galactic Republic as a type of sport. Professional athletes competed to see who had the greatest mastery over the style, with some competitors garnering great wealth and fame from their success. The style is somewhat flashier than others, since its practictioners were often entertainers as much as martial artists. The K'thri style focuses on speed and rapid, fluid attacks, with wide sweeping motions accompanying quick jabs and a good deal of fancy footwork.
Requires: 2 Years of training, and 2 specialties (or 1 if combat oriented)
Stava
The Noghri fighting style known as Stava spread throughout the galaxy since the liberation of the Noghri from the grip of the Empire. Unlike some species-specific martial arts, the Noghri have been able to teach their particular style of fighting to Humans, Twi'lek, and even Wookies. The style is very physical, often bringing combatants into close contact. Stava combat utilizes full-body tackles, throws, and full-arm blows, as well as the powerful jabs and snap kicks commonly used in instances where close combat is ineffective. Stava is a quick and dangerous style, and in unarmed combat an opponent using it can often act before the target has a chance to react.
Requires: A Noghri teacher, 3 Years of training, and 2 specialties (or 1 if combat oriented)
Known Martial Artists
The Noghri and Shira Brie
Teras Kasi
[/b]
The martial arts form known as Teras Kasi is an ancient extremely rare ancient art. The form's origins are found on the world of Bunduki in the Pacanth Reach, populated by a near-Human species known as the Epicanthix. The Followers of Palawa are a secretive sect of hermits that guard the teachings of Teras Kasi. It is unknown whether or not the Followers created the martial arts style, but nearly all Teras Kasi masters learned the style by journeying to Bunduki to learn from these keepers. The name Teras Kasi actually means " steel hands," referring to the damage and toughness of the martial artist's unarmed attacks. The style focuses on power and strength, including varying levels of damage depending on the force that is applied to the attacks. The style is unique, and masters are few and far between.
Requires: A Master who is willing to share guarded knowledge, 4 Years of training, and 2 specialties (or 1 if combat oriented)
Known Martial Artists
Followers of Palawa, Darth Maul, Anoon Bondara, Joclad Danva, Plo Koon, Zan Pike, Zu Pike, Phow Ji, and Arden Lyn.

Wrruushi
Wookie warriors have crafted a special style of fighting that combines their incredible strength with precise motions to perfect a martial arts form unique to their species. The style, known as Wrruushi, cannot be taught to members of other species. The style not only allows the use of lethal force but also gives Wookies options beyond simply smashing their opponents. In fact, one of the main focuses of the style is the ability to disable an opponent instead of killing them. Since much of the Wookiee's strength is in her upper body, the martial arts focuses heavily on punches, jabs, and throws. Unlike the quicker martial arts styles, Wrruushi focuses more on single strikes, no more than two or three at a time.
Requires: Wookies only, 3 Years of training, and 2 specialties (or 1 if combat oriented)
Known Martial Artists

Jeswandi
A Bothan meditation and martial arts style that there is little recorded on.

Similar to Teras Kasi. An ancient martial art utilized by the Old Republic’s Senatorial Guard. Hijkata is a striking style, not unlike Teras Kasi, but focuses more on using an opponent’s own attacks against him than Teras Kasi’s raw power. Hijkata has been a foundation for many styles of unarmed fighting over the millenia and is considered one of the ‘classical’ martial arts, along with Echani, K’thri and Teras Kasi.
