Zien stood back up as Kala spoke the smirk that had been on his lips changed. What was once a happy, choobiey grin was replaced by a more sadistic, evil grin. Reaching down he slowly picked up his weapon harness and put it back on, not even bothering to put his shirt back on first and he turned to directly face Kala. "Of course you couldn't be my mother for one thing you are right, you ain't blue baby and you are far to ugly to be my mother." If this is how she wanted to play things this is how they were going to be played. He could easily blast her snobby ass into the next life from where he was standing, before Kuur, Ian, or Kyc'n could do anything about it and he was pretty sure that was about what he was going to do. Reaching down he slipped the blasters out of each holster and leveled them both at Kala with the same grace and speed as his quickdraw always had. "Your not going to die for me, but trust me after the words you've just said you might die because of me. That would end your rebellion pretty karking quick now wouldn't it?" Zien's red eyes narrowed on her form and his body was telling him to pull the trigger and mess her ass up, but his mind wanted to see what she would do from here out.
Kuur watched the ongoings with abit of shock. What was relaxed and ready to be a in comparision calm conversation had turned into a clash of personalities. His loyalty since he had stepped foot on Kwervon had been to Kala, and even beyond there it would stay. He was kindred to this Chiss in the fact he'd faced human supremist attitude in the past, but beyond that he was more or less nothing. Kala was on Kwervon his gateway to a better-life. His assigned post from his commander in Duros and a friend, he lifted the blaster he had upwards leveling it on Zien, a finger hovering over the trigger as the barrel was pointed towards his skull. " You take shot, you die... " He said shakily. Curious as to what the man truly knew of their plans or alligience.
Kyc'n sighed rather heavily. He wished at these sort of times he had a lightsaber, he could lift and block about as quick as someone could pull a trigger stopping most the issues there and now. The Force with his guide he was incredibly fast when need be, that taxed him of course but it could be done. He cleared his throat near enough Kala he could step forward between both parties not a slow action or even an aggressive seeming movement just a simple smooth shift in his stance from door to space between the Alderaan native and the Chiss. " Not a time or place for this. " His voice steeled as he spoke.
Ian sighs as he stands up and moves in front of Kala. He keeps his back to her as he faces Kyc'n and Zien. He is in full agreement with Kyc'n on his assesment that this isn't the time or place for any of this. He says carefully, "Perhaps we should all just take a seat. It has been a rough couple of hours for me. I can't imagine what its been like for those of you who have been wrapped up in this longer." Dying isn't something he really wants to do, but should a firefight break out in this room he is pretty certain he will die. Maybe not right away, but very soon afterwards. Imperial stormtroopers didn't need much in the way of incentive to smash a few alien heads in and the sounds of blaster fire would no doubt drag some very unwanted attention from them. Likely the patrons of the bar would also get involved out of curiousity or general self-preservation. A few bodies in the right place no doubt would go a long way in sating the appetites of the Imperial's hunger for alien blood. He speaks again and says, "Let's all just relax a bit and take a seat. I'm certain even this dump can arrange some food for us," and quietly he hopes to himself that if he must hurl himself out a window that at least something might break his fall.
"Then make your move or leave," said Kala remaining calm but unwilling to back down for even a moment. Kuur spoke and she replied with her eyes focused upon Ziens face. "Kuur, it's alright." It wasn't alright however. There was nothing about this situation from start to present that deemed it such. The fact that Zien seemed to know anything at all about her involvement with rebel forces told her that he was a dangerous man. Being who she was, a woman who could hardly recognize herself in the mirror after drastic changes and a clever act of portraying someone else entirely. Kala in no way walked around with a badge on her chest that said I Am A Rebel. How he knew was beyond her. A leak, the leak, potentially the one that started the ball in motion back on Kwervon in the first place. Thoughts flew by and were processed quickly, none adding up what so ever. "I'm all for relaxing," she said placidly. "But I'm not putting my neck on Voldas chopping block for someone that wont even take a some good advice. So he needs to leave, this is how I see it. Or shoot me to make himself feel better. I'm not afraid of death," she reflected privately, knowing full well that there were far worse things than death, and somehow Voldas name was branded upon each. "Please, lets finish this and let Zien decide what needs to be done, I'm bored of it already and there is much to discuss." As she said potentially the last of what she felt needed to be said Kala looked at both Ian and Kyc'n hoping that they would step aside without further comment. Fearless of what the chiss had to offer, or just plain stupid with sleep deprivation and hunger, both perhaps, it was hard to say in a moment like this.
The grin never left his face as Kuur aimed at him and he leaned some to the side and slid his other blaster over to cover him as well. "What you think I can't get you too? This is what I do to eat...and from where I'm standing and seeings that I'm still alive to say that probably means I'm pretty good at it." This girl didn't know who she was messing with. He wouldn't hesistate to kill her, to kill any of them and didn't care what would happen to him from where he was standing if he shot her in her face right now he would be a happy man. "You don't need to be worry about Volda right now your head isn't on his chopping block, its in my trusty son's sights." He was ignoring Kyc'n and Ian both they were voices of reason at a time he didn't want to be reasonable. All he wanted to do was shoot her. His hands weren't shaking and he was calm about the whole ordeal and perhaps that was the frightening part. This wasn't the first time he had killed somebody and it probably wouldn't be the last, as much as he tried to justify what he did in the end he was just an assassin, anothere murderer for hire. So what was different about this? Of course he hadn't been paid to kill her and she was simply about to get blasted for what she had said. Some might say that wasn't fair, but when was life fair? He shook his head slightly and lowered his blasters for a moment before giving them each a spin and holstering them. "I'll be gone in the morning, stay the kark away from me. Or I swear on my family name of Nuroudo, the 2nd Ruling Family of the Chiss Ascendancy that I will kill you, and please if you are as smart as you seem to be, don't think that I'm not being serious." Turning away from them again he started back towards where he had been sitting earlier.
" You shoot her you die. Think on that while you get up and leave here. These rooms for us. Not you. You stay I'll kill you when you sleep. " Kuur said defiantly, enraged the man would act this way. That once bond he thought he might have with the being lost. The Rebel cell he and Kala belonged to was defending and taking care of hundreds of people, thousands if their full plans came about. He kept his hand on his trigger even after Zien had put his blaster away. " You really not smart to do that. Up and go. Now. " The once shaky Duros was now confident seeming, strong and full if hate for this man before him. A slight tremble was still visible but a sense of heroism against this man seemed to replace it, this scoundrel was exactly the kind of creature the Empire produced. The establishment he hated.
Kyc'n was unable to say or speak much beyond a grunt of annoyance at all of this taking place. He listened to the words back and forth and the voice of Kuur. " Noone is dying here. " He looked towards Zien as he did not heed Kala's words by moving, turning as his hand closed over the door managing to stay wedged between Kala and Zien. Opening the door to the hall he tipped his head to the side silently, awaiting th exit of the Chiss. " A pity it came to this. We could have used you.
Ian holds his position as he waits to see what will transpire. His own feelings towards Zien indicate a sense of relief at his departure more than anything. Unpredictability is a hallmark of Zien, at least it appears to be from his limited exposure to Zien, and while such a trait would serve him well independantly it wouldn't mesh well with a group as a whole. Perhaps would calm himself after a bit of rest and see fit to rejoin the party. Afterall a dab hand with a pistol isn't easy to come by, and his own skills with a blaster aren't anything in the class of Zien's. He watches and waits in silence with one eye on the nearby window. The hope of an adequete means of breaking a fall existing have only grown larger in the last few passing moments.
Kala watched with anticipation. The man would either find a way to shoot her or he wouldn't. Her only hope was that nobody else would become injured in the process. It was the way she thought. Sure there was a certain level of self preservation on the line at times. But more often than not, her job was so much more than it seemed to be. She had not fled Kwervon because she was afraid of a potential backlash. She had run because on her person was guarded information and beyond that her mind was stocked full of names and relations that by torturous means could be found out. A shot to the head, the face, hell anywhere that dealt permanent damage could end all risk on her end and spare those that trusted and relied upon her most a fate far worse. As Zien holstered his blasters Kala gave him a sincere nod of disappointment. He truly was a liability and she'd been a fool to bring him along this far. "Safe Travels to you," she said plainly, then awaited his departure before speaking further on more pressing matters.
He knew that this was exactly what was going to happen so he wasn't worried when they asked him to leave, he simply reached down and picked his shirt up and turned back to face them. The trademark grin had come back to his face as he looked over at Kuur and just shook his head at his new found confidence. "Its alright Kuur, even though you still have your finger on the trigger I could stilll blast you before you got me." Chuckling he started towards the door paying the nervous Duros no mind and stopped some to look at Kyc'n as he spoke. "No my friend, you couldn't. I am not a puppet and I'm surely not a patriot. Althought I will admit I would have done the work for an ample amount of credits. Take it easy, I'm sure I'll see you again." Zien turned his head slightly to regard Ian with a nod never really getting to know him and then he turned to face Kala and started to laugh. "You have fun on your little mission and try not to get yourself killed, you see because while I you were jabbering with some guy in the cantina I was busy making my own moves. I have something that none of you have and that secures my survival at this very moment." Walking out the door he stopped and looked back over his shoulder at them with a grin, "sometimes you don't just win credits in Sabacc games." His laughter echoed down the stairway as he made his exit, glad to finally be free of them.
Kuur only glared. Hand never wavering in it's aim as Zien removed himself from the room. " Good ridance... " He said once the man was gone. Kyc'n only shook his head slowly at the whole ordeal. Their odds of success dropping by a figure of one. He thought perhaps Zien would have been another for the cause against the tyrants. Once he'd heard them out he might have stayed, but they never made it that far. " Perhaps one day. " The Jedi in hiding said to the man. Offering a nod of his head before closing the door slowly, placing his back against it again. In time maybe, the Force worked in odd ways, people seemed to connect again. At least he hoped, for selfish reasons of his own outside of this small group. " That was... not seen. " He said quietly to the rest gathered in his seemingly typical quiet manner.
Ian replies casually as he returns to his seat, "Sometimes things that we want to see aren't spotted till we are right on top of it. Even then the potential for missing the obvious still exists." He looks around the room and wonders just what would need to occur to go about getting some food. Not that he looked forward to eating whatever this dump has to offer, but food is food. Food could also wait a few more minutes as he realizes that now would be the right time to clear the air a bit more. Not that he wanted to force a dramatic departure, but his own survival depended on the good will of the occupants of this room. To go about garnering the good will of those in the room with him he looks over to Kala and says, "I do believe at some point some explanation is going to be needed. Explanations from all of us to bridge some sort of common understanding. I do understand the need for discretion on your part so I won't insist on full disclosure at this point in time. Perhaps that will come when some sort of trust has been established between us all."
